Eating Oysters Films is a UK-based film production company founded by Chris Lau, Sasha Carter, and George Pool, graduates of the University of Cambridge. Driven by creativity and boldness, the company's mission is to break filmmaking boundaries by producing low-budget, high-quality short and feature films for the best film festivals and broader audiences.
The company was founded in spring 2025 to develop its first feature film, Eating Oysters, after which it was named. The film explores an intricate university relationship and was shot in Cambridge across 11 days in May and June 2025, with support from Sony. Currently in post-production, the film is on track for a festival release in 2026 or 2027.
