About

Chris is a UK-based producer with extensive experience in micro-budget productions. With Eating Oysters Films, he is producing Eating Oysters (in post-production), a feature film shot across 11 days in Cambridge with the support of Sony, and I Swallowed My Tail, a queer short film in development.

As a freelance producer, he is producing multiple short films in the UK, including Oxpecker (in post-production), a queer horror film made with financial support from five funding bodies, The Sink (2025), an experimental silent film commissioned by the Cambridge ‘Rivers of Film’ Festival and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, and Authenticity for Sale (in pre-production), a dark comedy.

He was selected for BFI NETWORK South East's Emerging Producers Lab (2025) and the "Breaking into the Industry" Lab for aspiring producers at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) (2025).

As a Hong Kong-qualified solicitor (non-practising) with two years' experience in a UK-headquartered international law firm, Chris brings strong organisational and management skills to his work.

Chris was also the Co-Lead Curator of Odyssey, a UK film festival showcasing films from Greater China, in 2024. In this role, he programmed a selection of short and feature films on the theme of “food and travel” and organised the sold-out UK Premiere of Snow in Midsummer (2024), Malaysian director Chong Keat Aun’s second feature.
